MeeGo

In recent days, the Internet appeared information that Intel will temporarily stop the development of MeeGo operating system because, as they say on Digitimes, 'lack of enthusiasm for the platform. "Instead of developing a MeeGo, Intel will focus on the hardware products and will own mobile platform, "or pair with Android or Windows Phoneom in 2012." Added to DigiTimes. At Intel, we have responded to this information will "remain committed to MeeGo-in" and will continue to work with developers in an effort to meet the needs of users of this operating system.

Otherwise, many analysts are now wondering how it makes sense to insist on this OS for when it has no interest in any of the programmers or the users. Therefore, it is likely that Intel will eventually decide to develop products for other platforms like Windows Phonea.

  1. Never really knew much about this MeeGo, but I understand they want to cut if it's not successful... That's just how things work.

  2. I would look up MEEGO, but what is the point now? Ha! I am very interested in seeing what kind of control we end up having over our net appliances. There will be a time, not too far from now, when modders will be hunted down and executed.
